Roaming Homes: 15 DIY RVs, Converted Buses & Tiny Houses
Never have there been so many ideas for places to live, travel or vacation in from RV's, converted buses and tiny houses, if something has wheels the sky's the limit! It's hard to just look at just one of the "Roaming Homes: 15 DIY RV's, Converted Buses & Tiny Houses" on this website, you want to take a look and find out more about each and every one of the unique traveling homes.
People can take any sort of vehicle and turn it into a place to live, there really is no limit to what can be accomplished, from school buses, fire trucks, air streams and RV's creative people all over the world, are taking to building their own mobile homes and tiny houses on wheels. One particular tiny house on wheels, has a deck and full sized hot tub, now that's traveling in style! The feature photo of the two storey house on wheels in the desert made its appearance at the popular Burning Man Festival, The Neverwas Haul, took over six months to build and was made almost entirely out of recycled materials, amazing!
There really are a lot of inspiring designs out there, once you start taking a look, you'll be amazed what people have designed and built. Not that a regular RV, camper, trailer or air stream is a bad way to travel, but some of these creative things people are coming up with gives a whole new meaning to recycling and re-purposing. Another popular trend these days is that of small and tiny home building and living, it's amazing how little space and stuff people need to live comfortably. As long as there is a place to sleep (which by day can be converted to a place to sit), an area to cook and for different people the washroom or shower can vary, some people will share a common area, or if your lucky enough or prefer, you can have your own private area.
Living more simply with a smaller space, allows you to live a more simple life, allowing the affordability to do whats important in life. For some that means traveling more, and when you own and possibly live in a place thats on wheels, well your all ready to go at any time, I think that sounds like a really great idea.
