Dizzying Upside-Down House Lets Visitors Walk on the Ceiling
The amazing thing about art is it has the ability to change the way we look at things, by giving us another interpretation of the things we see each day. This "Dizzying Upside-Down House Lets Visitors Walk on the Ceiling," is an amazing and fun concept, one that has to be seen to be believed.
The upside down house was built as a tourist attraction in Siberia giving visitors the ability to defy gravity, or at least that's what it feels like, with this powerful illusion. Photos of the intriguing upside down house were taken by photographer Ilya Naymusin while she recently toured the house. Guest to the house are made to feel as though they are walking on the ceiling as they stroll through the two story house. The green walled kitchen and dining room, is where visitors can walk beneath a dinner table set with plates of spaghetti. In the living room, a Christmas tree and large leather couch hang over guests heads. Nothing is missed when you travel through this dizzying house, in the bathroom the toilet like hangs open in a small, tiled bathroom, and toys are scattered across the wood panelled playroom in the attic.
Outside there is even a car with wheels up, that is parked in the driveway clinging to an upturned brick patio. This great house is located in the city of Krasnoyarsk, and appears to be quite a bit larger than its upside down cottage counterpart in Moscow. The upside down house is great for both young and old alike, and something you won't be able to stop talking about should you visit, the upside down house is a great place for lots of photo opportunities, where guest can turn their cameras upside down making it look like their subjects are walking on the ceiling of an ordinary house.
